Lesson overview

This lesson opens Module 2, Brand Entity Development and Recognition. It is a short orientation page where you can download the slides for the module, taught by Beatrice Gamba, before working through the lessons. The page itself contains little text, so this summary explains what the module sets out to do and how its lessons fit together.

What this lesson covers

  • The purpose of Module 2 and how it builds on Module 1
  • Access to the module slides for reference as you study
  • An overview of the BRIDGE framework used throughout the module
  • The theory lessons and the practical workbook lessons that follow
  • How the module ends with evaluation, common pitfalls and key takeaways

Module 1 explained how search engines and language models understand entities. Module 2 turns that understanding towards your own brand. Its starting point is a common problem: many sites add a little Organization or WebSite markup to a few pages and stop there, so AI systems have no connected, structured reference points for the brand. The module responds with a systematic approach to entity development organised around the BRIDGE framework, which runs from Blueprint and Relationships through Implementation, Distribution and Growth to Evaluation.

The lessons follow that sequence. You begin by finding entity recognition gaps and learning the core components of a brand entity framework. You then build an entity catalogue through blueprint analysis, map the relationships between entities and learn why consistent IDs turn isolated markup into a connected graph. An advanced schema lesson shows how to model organisations, people and their connections. Later lessons cover distributing entity data consistently across platforms, growing the entity network deliberately with help from AI agents, and measuring recognition and citations. Two practical lessons walk you through the Entity Relationship Planning Workbook and the Schema Entity Audit Template, so you can apply the ideas to a real or hypothetical organisation. The module outro gathers common pitfalls and key takeaways.

Keeping the slides open while you watch makes it easier to follow the frameworks and examples, and to come back to them when you start your own audit or planning work.

Module 2 suits SEOs, brand and content leads, and consultants who need a structured way to define, connect and strengthen a brand’s entities so that search engines and AI systems recognise them reliably. It also prepares you for Module 3, where those entities become a full knowledge graph.
