Lesson overview

This optional final exam gives you a chance to check what you have learned across the course before you collect your certificate. It is a knowledge check of 15 questions on knowledge graphs, schema markup and entity optimisation. Taking it is a useful way to find any topics worth revisiting, and it brings the main threads of the course together in one place.

What this lesson covers

  • An optional, self-paced knowledge check with 15 questions
  • Questions on knowledge graphs
  • Questions on schema markup
  • Questions on entity optimisation
  • A way to spot lessons worth revisiting
  • A running score so you can see where you stand

The exam’s three topics, knowledge graphs, schema markup and entity optimisation, run through every stage of the course. Module 1 explained how entity-based search works in the LLM era, including how entities differ from keywords and how AI systems choose which sources to cite. Module 2 focused on brand entity development, using the BRIDGE framework to find gaps, catalogue entities, map relationships and implement schema with consistent IDs. Module 3 covered designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining a brand knowledge graph. Module 4 looked at building brand authority, from competitive positioning in LLM responses to cross-platform entity distribution and citation monitoring. The optional knowledge primers on entities and knowledge graphs supplied the technical foundations.

The exam is designed as a self-assessment. It does not introduce new material. If a question catches you out, treat it as a pointer to the lesson you should rewatch. The flashcard lesson in the same final section is a good way to prepare, because it recaps the core insights in a quick question-and-answer format. You can reset and try again, so there is no pressure to get everything right first time.

Because the exam is optional, you can choose when to take it. Some learners prefer to sit it straight after the last module while the ideas are fresh. Others return to it later as a refresher before starting an entity or knowledge graph project.

This lesson sits in the closing Congratulations section of the course, alongside the flashcards and the certificate page. It suits anyone who wants to confirm their understanding before applying entity SEO and knowledge graph strategies to a real brand.
