Lesson overview
This lesson opens Module 3, Knowledge Graph Integration and Optimization. It is a short starting point whose main purpose is to give you the slide deck for the module, prepared by Beatrice Gamba, so you can follow the video lessons and keep the resource links close at hand. This summary sets out what the module covers and how it builds on the brand entity work that comes before it.
What this lesson covers
- Where Module 3 fits in the course and why it follows brand entity development
- Access to the downloadable slides for every lesson in the module
- An overview of the module’s path from knowledge graph fundamentals to maintenance
- The practical workbook that supports the module’s planning work
- How the module prepares you for building brand authority for LLMs in Module 4
Module 3 is where your brand’s entities become a connected knowledge graph. It starts with the fundamentals: how knowledge graphs represent entities as nodes and relationships as edges, and how Schema.org, JSON-LD and RDF let search engines and AI systems read those relationships without ambiguity. You then learn to build your graph from the entity inventory created with the BRIDGE framework, prioritising entities into tiers, assigning Schema.org types, mapping relationships and gathering the attributes each entity needs.
Later lessons move into implementation and upkeep. They compare approaches to implementing a knowledge graph, from plugins and SaaS tools to custom code and hybrid options, along with the settings and validation checks to complete before deployment. The module covers deploying semantic infrastructure on your website with content and entity data aligned around a single source of truth. It also covers keeping your entity representation identical across platforms beyond your own site, and maintaining the graph through regular checks at different intervals. A practical lesson walks through the Knowledge Graph Foundation workbook, one of the course’s required exercises, which turns these ideas into a prioritised, week-by-week deployment roadmap. The slides you download here support all of these lessons. They work as a printed or on-screen companion and contain the links to the resources mentioned in each video. Downloading them is optional but useful for revisiting the material later.
This introduction is the entry point to the course’s most implementation-focused module. It helps SEOs, technical marketers and developers who are ready to move from understanding their brand as an entity to building and maintaining a knowledge graph around it.
